Malampuzha Hill Station - Kerala

Malampuzha, located at a distance of around 10 km from Palakkad city of Kerala, India, is one of Kerala's most attractive tourist destinations. This small township is located at the foothills of Western Ghats. Malampuzha has a large number of natural as well as artificial amusement options.
Although it is a small hill station, it has many attractions - really innumerable. Let me list down whatever I can...

Malampuzha Garden, popularly called Vrindavan of Kerala, has green lawns, glittering pools and fountains, and a lot of flower beds. A reservoir (dam) near the garden offers boating options.

To add more attractions to Malampuza as a tourist spot, you can also find a freshwater aquarium, a snake park, and a children's park with a toy train. Traveling through the Road Train, you can get a glimpse of Malampuzha Garden.

A small Japanese Garden gives more charm to this great tourist destination. The hanging bridge across the Malampuzha river (yes, the place got the name 'Malampuzha from this river) and the passenger ropeway are the best attractions.

There is a telescopic tower functional in Malampuzha similar to any other hill station in India.

The thread garden is a unique attraction of Malampuzha. This is an incredible work of art created after years of hard work by many workers, using only embroidery color threads without the aid of needles or any special devices. The Thread Garden has a good collection of beautiful life-like models of plants and flowers.

The Rock garden, which is made of unwanted and broken pieces of bangles, tiles, used plastic cans, tins, and other waste materials, is another unique site to visit in Malampuza.

There is also an amusement park named 'Fantasy Park' in Malampuzha, which offers various kinds of joy rides like any other amusements parks in India.

The beautiful and unique sculpture of Yakshi is one of the highlights and landmarks of this small but beautiful tourist attraction.

Happy travelling.
