Bengaluru, officially known as Bangalore, serves as the capital city of the Indian state of Karnataka. It has earned the nickname 'Silicon Valley of India' due to the presence of major IT corporations. Vidhana Soudha serves as the Legislative Assembly of Karnataka, an imposing modern-day structure located at the heart of Bangalore. This monumental building showcases a fusion of Dravidian and Indo-Saracenic architectural styles, often referred to as Mysore Neo-Dravidian. Its construction was completed in the year 1956 CE.

The building boasts a rectangular layout, featuring two inner open quadrangles flanking the central wing. Adding to its grandeur, a remarkable highlight of the structure is the imposing staircase at the front, comprised of 45 steps spanning an impressive width of 204 feet.

With its colossal presence, Vidhana Soudha stands as a truly impressive legislative edifice, making it one of the most distinguished legislative structures in India.
