Anna Nagar is one of the most happening places of Chennai city, the gateway to South India. In Anna Nagar, near the Roundtana area, the famous Tower Park is located. Any Chennaite would know about Anna Nagar Tower Park, which is officially named as Vishwesvaraiya Park.

Anna Nagar Tower Park is the tallest tower park of Chennai city. You can reach the tower through cyclic stairs. From top of the tower, you can get a beautiful view of Chennai city. The park is well maintained with a lo of trees and plants. You can even find fountains in the park. Music gets played during the evening times. There is play area for children within the park.

Anna Nagar Tower Park is one of the major landmarks of Anna Nagar area of Chennai. It is very common to find hundreds of joggers and walkers regularly in this park. The beautiful landscaped lawns has made the park as an ideal place to spend evening times with family.

The 138 feet tower and the park, which was opened in 1968, was recently renovated. It's one of the sites in Chennai city, which you shouldn't miss to visit.

Consecrated in March 2021, the 40 feet high Bala Murugan icon at Saveetha Medical College campus is the tallest image of Murugan in Chennai. Malaysia has 140 feet tall Murugan. Putlur Angala Parameswari Temple - Chennai

Angala Parameswari Temple in Putlur, near  Chennai  city of South India, is a unique temple. The Goddess is in the form of a pregnant woman in this temple. The icon of Angala Parameswari is believed to be self-manifested, called swayambhu.  As per the legend, a village head tortured a poor for borrowed money. The poor was forced to plough an infertile land. While ploughing the ground full of rocks, the villager noticed that blood was oozing out from a particular place.
