The Teen Murti Bhavan is one of the important memorials in New Delhi, the capital city of India. It is the former residence of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru.

Jawaharlal Nehru stayed in this house for about 16 years. The building was designed by Robert Tor Russell, the British architect in 1930s. It was meant to be the residence of the Commander-in-Chief of the British Indian Army.

Today, the house serves as a memorial. The building houses Nehru museum which has several articles and furnitures used by the former Prime Minister. The Nehru Memorial Library located in the same building is one of the best sites for information on modern Indian history. Also, the Nehru Planetarium is located in this building.

When you go to Delhi, visit Teen Murti Bhavan to pay homage to the late Indian leader.
