Mahalakshmi Temple, Mumbai

The commercial capital of India, Mumbai city, has a famous temple dedicated to the Goddess of wealth, Mahalakshmi. It is located on B. Desai Road in the Breach Candy area.

The main shrine has three goddesses – Mahalakshmi in the middle; Kali and Saraswati on either side. There are sub-shrines for Hanuman and Ganesha.

It is believed that the temple was built in 1785 CE.

Happy travelling.
