St. Paul's Cathedral - Kolkata, India

The maidan area of Kolkata city in India is full of tourist sites and historical structures such as Victoria Hall, Birla Planetarium, etc. One of the important churches of Kolkata located in the maidan area has historical importance - St. Paul's Cathedral.

St. Paul's Cathedral, which was built in 1847 CE, is architecturally beautiful. The structure of the church was built in Gothic revival style. The interior of this Protestant church is also beautiful with floral decorations on the wall and some mural paintings.

This church is an Anglican cathedral of the Church of North India - a united church which is a part of the Anglican community in Kolkata city.
