A Night to Remember

Singapore's Night Safari, the world’s first nocturnal wildlife park, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year (2024). This unique safari offers a chance to see over 900 animals from 100 species in their naturalistic nighttime habitats, making it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.

The Night Safari is more than just a zoo visit; it’s an immersive experience that transports visitors into the heart of the jungle under the cover of darkness. As you step into the park, the ambient sounds of the night and the soft glow of moonlight set the stage for a magical journey. The safari is divided into four walking trails and a tram ride, each offering a different perspective on nocturnal wildlife.

The tram ride is a highlight of the Night Safari, providing a guided tour through seven geographical zones. This 40-minute journey takes you from the Himalayan Foothills to the Southeast Asian Rainforest, offering close encounters with animals like the Malayan tiger, Asian elephants, and the endangered Asian rhinoceros. The knowledgeable guides share fascinating insights about the animals and their behaviors, enhancing the overall experience.

For those who prefer a more intimate exploration, the walking trails offer a closer look at the animals. For the more adventurous, the Night Safari offers the "Safari Adventure Tour," a private buggy ride that provides a behind-the-scenes look at the park. This exclusive tour is led by an expert guide and includes opportunities to feed some of the animals, making it a perfect experience for wildlife enthusiasts.

Whether you're exploring the walking trails, enjoying the tram ride, or participating in the special anniversary events, the Night Safari promises an unforgettable journey through the wild under the moonlight.

Happy travelling.
