Chakra Kali Amman Temple is a temple dedicated to Kali who is very popular as a ferocious Hindu village deity. The temple is located near the popular Kubera temple in Ratnamangalam village near Vandalur in Chennai city.
Like any other typical village temple, this temple is small. Many idols are found in the temple which appear to be later addition.
In the main shrine, we can find the big idol of
Chakra Kali with four arms holding various weapons and in the sitting posture. In front of her, another idol of Kali in the standing posture is found.
