A memorial to the Father of the Nation - Gandhi Mandapam, Chennai

I don't think there is anyone in this world who wouldn't have heard about Mahatma Gandhi.

Next to Snake Park and Children's park at Sardar Patel Road in Guindy in Chennai, there is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi called 'Gandhi Mandapam'. The entrance resembles the South Indian temple tower. Inaugurated by Rajaji in 1956, it houses few statues of Mahatma Gandhi and a small auditorium.

Go, visit this place and pay tribute to the great leader.

Happy travelling.
