Anand Bhairav Temple is one of the oldest temples of Haridwar. It is located near the popular Maya Devi temple

The temple is small and the structure appears to be renovated and new. In the sanctum, Bhairav is found in the form of a Linga with eyes, nose and mustache sculpted on it. A formless red colored idol is also found near this Linga.

There are three other sub-shrines in this temple. Dattatreya in the sitting posture is found in one sub-shrine. Another sub-shrine has the stucco images of many deities such as Linga, Shiva, Parvati, Ganesha, Kartikeya and Kali. There is a separate section for the stucco idols of Navagraha along with their respective mounts. Ganesh idol is also situated near Navagraha.

Happy travelling.
