Bangalore, officially known as Bengaluru, is the capital city of Karnataka state of India. It is called as the 'Silicon Valley of India' as all IT majors have presence in the city. Bangalore is known for its pleasant climate has a lot of tourist attractions which include parks, gardens, temples, etc. Let us discuss about an interesting building from where the entire state is governed and administered.

Vidhana Soudha is the Legislative Assembly of Karnataka state. The massive structure that stands in the heart of Bangalore city is a prominent modern day structure of the entire nation.

The building represents the mix of Dravidian and Indo Saracenic style of architecture, which is also called as Mysore Neo Dravidian. The building was constructed in 1956 CE.

The building is rectangular in shape with two inner open quadrangles on either sides of the central wing. Another interesting feature of the building is grand stairs in the front side. There are 45 steps of 204 feet width.

The building looks gigantic and is definitely the most impressive legislative structure of India.

Happy travelling.
