Tipu's Summer Palace is a small palace built in the blend of Indo Islamic architecture style. It is situated within Bangalore Fort. The structure which was built entirely with teak was started by Hyder Ali and was completed by his son Tipu Sultan in the year 1791 CE. As Tipu used this palace as his residence during the summer times, it is called as Tipu's Summer Palace.

This well maintained palace is adorned with beautiful pillars and floral motifs. Some old paintings are also found in this palace. The silver vessels, dress materials and other such items used by Tipu are also displayed in this palace.
