Mamallapuram town in South India is famous for its Pallava period architectural marvel and splendid sculptures. However, there is one natural rock which was not made by human power has become as popular as other architectural marvels in Mamallapuram. It is Krishna's Butter Ball.

Krishna's butter ball is a giant natural rock perched on the hillside near the popular monument Arjuna's Penance. As it resembles butter ball, it is called as Lord Krishna's butter ball. You can find tourists visit this rock and pose for photographs. You can also find a lot of people taking shelter under this shady rock.
