Pier 39 is one of the most popular travel destinations in San Francisco. The walking tour of Fisherman's Wharf starts from Pier 39. Those who visit Golden Gate Bridge generally visit Pier 39 too. I would say that Pier 39 represents the entire San Francisco culture. This is such a lovely place that you would definitely want to go again and again.

Pier 39 is full of shops - all sorts of shops. Crab House, Eagle Cafe, Hard Rock Cafe, and Pier Market Seafood Restaurant are some of the notable restaurants of Pier 39. Candy Baron, Chocolate Heaven, and other options are available for snacks and sweet treats. For gifts, apparel, jewelry, and other accessories, you can find a lot of essential shops such as Bliss, Fashion Trends, Alcatraz gifts, Antiquities, etc.

You can get ferries to experience breathtaking views of Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. The aquarium of the Bay and bungee trampoline are additional attractions in Pier 39. You can get trolleys at Pier 39 to take San Francisco Sight Seeing Tours. San Francisco Carousel, located centrally at Pier 39, is an all-time favorite of kids.

Another unique feature of Pier 39 is the hundreds of Sea Lions found in West Marina. Another special attraction is the multi-talented street performers who entertain the visitors.

Consecrated in March 2021, the 40 feet high Bala Murugan icon at Saveetha Medical College campus is the tallest image of Murugan in Chennai. Malaysia has 140 feet tall Murugan. Putlur Angala Parameswari Temple - Chennai

Angala Parameswari Temple in Putlur, near  Chennai  city of South India, is a unique temple. The Goddess is in the form of a pregnant woman in this temple. The icon of Angala Parameswari is believed to be self-manifested, called swayambhu.  As per the legend, a village head tortured a poor for borrowed money. The poor was forced to plough an infertile land. While ploughing the ground full of rocks, the villager noticed that blood was oozing out from a particular place. There, he discovered the image of the Goddess. It is a snake hole (putru in Tamil - where snakes live) in the form of a woman in a sleeping posture with her mouth kept open, and her bulged stomach like a pregnant woman. Mount Road or Anna Salai is one of the most happening places in  Chennai . There are two famous Islamic shrines on Mount Road – one is  Thousands Light mosque . The other one is Dargah-e-Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (Rahmatullah Alaihi), also known as Mount Road Dargah. It is the most popular Dargah across the city. It draws devotees of all faiths and all walks of life. Especially every Thursday, a large number of devotees gather to the Dargah. A lot of city-based celebrities regularly visit the site. This Dargah is the shrine of a Muslim Saint named Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi. He was also known as Rahmatullah Alaihi.
