Malleeswarar temple in Mylapore, Chennai is the sixth Sapta Sthana (seven important temples) temple in Mylapore. The temple is located in a small lane in Bazaar street near Karaneeswarar temple. The temple's main deities are Malleeswarar (Lord Shiva) and Maragadambal. The Shiv linga in this temple is very huge. The temple is very small, but beautiful. There is a belief that if an unmarried person visits this temple, his/her marriage gets fixed.

This temple is one of the ancient temples of Chennai. Unfortunately, only very few people know about this temple. If those who visit the famous Kapaleeswara temple in Mylapore (the seventh Sapta Sthana temple) visit all the other six Sapta Sthana temples too, it would really be great.
